Alan Nix

Alan Nix has been elected for his current place on City Council in May 2024. In his 70 years as a Stephenville resident, he has held multiple leadership roles ranging from owning his own business, Nix Manufacturing, to serving on Board of Adjustments, Planning & Zoning Commission, and City Council for multiple terms. Mr. Nix is known for his hands-on approach, taking pride in thoroughly understanding each project and engaging with all relevant departments. In addition to his civic engagements, he has been active in the Stephenville Athletic Booster, Chamber of Commerce, and StephenvilleWE. Outside of his community service, Mr. Nix enjoys teaching adult Bible classes, supporting Stephenville High School Athletics, and pursuing outdoor activities such as hunting. He cherishes spending time with his wife, Jan, their two daughters, and 4 grandchildren.
