Gerald Cook was elected to the Stephenville City Council in May 2024. As a retired CEO of an Economic Development Corporation, he brings a wealth of experience to his goal of "Building a Better Community" for all residents. Gerald is actively involved in various organizations, including the International Economic Development Council – AEDO Committee, Comprehensive Plan development, and Stephenville Economic Development Authority. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining focus on the big picture and striving to improve the lives of others. Outside of his civic duties, Mr. Cook enjoys spending time with his wife, Rita, traveling, gardening, and baking. They have two children and one granddaughter.
