Dean Parr was elected to the Stephenville City Council in May 2024. He has been a resident of Stephenville for over 30 years. He brings a dedication to excellence inspired by one of his favorite quotes “In Texas, there is a certain honor of being a Texan that is doing something the best that you can”. As a self-employed Architectural draftsman, Mr. Parr hopes to combine his professional expertise with his passion for the city to fulfill a sense of civic duty and desire to make a difference.

Dean has spent the last several years serving on various boards and committees in the Stephenville community, including Board of Adjustments, Erath County Sheriff’s Posse and the Stephenville Evening Lions Club. Dean and his wife have 3 children and two grandchildren. They enjoy spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and golfing.
