Field Trips

TexanVille Kids Camp will attend several field trips throughout the summer. Permission slips will be available at the time of registration for those weeks. If your child(ren) are unable to attend the field trip they will not be allowed to attend camp at the time we are planning to be on the field trip. Field Trips require “all hands-on deck” and we will not have any additional staff available for supervision.

Lunch/Snack

TexanVille Kids Camp will not provide lunch for campers unless communicated with parents prior. Camp will provide (1) snack during the day. Children are encouraged to bring alternative snacks from home if they would like. We understand that some children may have dietary restrictions or allergies. We take into consideration these restrictions when selecting snack products and will ensure your child receives a snack suitable for their diet. Although, due to the limited selection of our snacks, we cannot guarantee a great variety among these snacks.

Illness & Injury

We urge you to keep children home if they are ill, both for their sake and the sake of other children and staff. If a child displays a temperature over 99 degrees, signs of nausea or vomiting, the parent will be contacted for immediate pick-up. We will contact parents if your child has relayed discomfort or illness. Pick-up will be up to the parents’ discretion. There are no refunds for days missed due to illness if your child was dropped off at any point during the week.

If a minor incident should occur at our program, the Camp Director(s) will advise the parent/guardian at the time of pick-up. If a major incident should occur, the Camp Director(s) will contact the parent or guardian immediately. If emergency treatment is warranted, the Camp Director(s) will urgently notify the parent, guardian, and emergency personnel.
