Cemeteries

The city owns two cemeteries within the city limits: West End Memorial Cemetery and East End Memorial Cemetery. City staff is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of grounds and selling of plots. The City has designated an area as an Urn Garden located at the West End Cemetery.

West End Cemetery is located at the intersection of Washington Street and Lillian Street across from Tarleton State University.

East End Memorial Cemetery is located on Highway 281 approximately one-half mile north of Washington Street near Tejas Golf Course.

Fees

City Residents – $600.00 per plot*
Non-Residents – $750.00 per plot*

*Filing fees will be applied at time of purchase.
