Development Handbook

The City is happy to present the “Development Handbook”. It is our intention to assist developers with the development process and make is as easy and simple as possible. This handbook will provide the information required in a user- friendly and easily understood format. This guide is not intended to discourage developers from contacting the city in person or by phone. On the contrary, this handbook is designed to give a better understanding of the process and give City of Stephenville an opportunity to work with developers in an effective manner.

The guide follows the sequence of the development process, starting with predevelopment meetings and continuing to a final certificate of occupancy. Each section contains a summary, flowchart, checklist applications, meeting dates and deadlines, and other necessary information.
