Lockhart Road Improvements Project - ITB 3318

The City of Stephenville will receive sealed bids for the Lockhart Road Improvements Project until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at City Hall, 298 W. Washington St., Stephenville, TX 76401.

Bids shall be addressed to Sarah Lockenour, City Secretary. Bid envelopes shall be clearly labeled with project name, ITB number, bid opening date, and company name. Bids will be opened and read aloud publicly at above time and place. Any bid received after stated closing time will be returned unopened.

Work to be performed generally includes realignment of Lockhart Road at the Fort Worth and Western Railroad crossing, including culvert replacement.  Quantities include approximately: 930 SY 3.5” HMAC and 12” Flexible Base; 1100 CY Unclassified Excavation; 84 LF 4’x2’ RCB; and 56 LF 24” RCP.     

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at City Hall, 298 W. Washington St., Stephenville, TX 76401.   

Information and Bid Documents for the project may be found at the following designated website:  www.CivCastUSA.com.  Please submit project questions through www.CivCastUSA.com. Questions will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023.   

Bid Documents are on file, for review only, at the office of the Purchasing Department, 1201 Glen Rose Road, Stephenville, Texas 76401.

Bid security in the form of Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid.

The City of Stephenville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, or to proceed otherwise when the best interest of the City will be realized hereby. Bid award is not solely based on price alone.

A bid may be withdrawn and resubmitted any time prior to the time set for receipt of bids. No bid may be modified after above time and date.  Bids shall be held firm for a period of 60 days unless otherwise stated.
